It is an honor to welcome you to our 2024-2025 school year at Goucher Charter Academy!  We are excited to welcome both our new and returning families into our building.  Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your child's educational path.  

As we embark on our second year, we reflect on our accomplishments from the past year!    All of our students will have the opportunity to participate as a Scout, which provides your child with opportunities to build lifelong skills both inside and outside of the classroom.  We proudly note that we are the only school in the United States to implement Scouting into our school day.  While we offer Scouting activities and events in school, our students also have the chance to participate in activities and events held outside of school through the Palmetto Council.  We inspire our students to be lifelong learners and caring contributors to the world around them.

We are committed to providing your student with an excellent educational experience, where they receive the best support to learn and grow.  Our MTSS (Multi-Tiered Support Systems) assists us in providing targeted interventions that are based on your child's current needs.  We offer our students with a nurturing environment so they are successful both academically and socially. 

A strong partnership between home and school fosters greater success for our children.  I encourage parents to communicate with teachers and staff to foster a successful partnership.  Be involved with our parent organization: GCA Gorilla Troop.
